Meet Dr. Kennedy – Optometrist
A proud Colorado native, Dr. Kennedy grew up in nearby Broomfield and is passionate about serving the local Erie community. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Colorado before continuing his education at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. There, he graduated with distinction and was honored with the Alcon Vision Contact Lens Achievement Award.
Dr. Kennedy brings advanced expertise in specialty contact lens fittings, including lenses for keratoconus, bifocal contact lenses, and orthokeratology. He is also highly experienced in managing dry eye using the latest diagnostic tools and treatment technologies.
In addition to providing comprehensive eye exams and managing a wide range of eye diseases, Dr. Kennedy has a special interest in Myopia Management. He enjoys helping children and teens manage nearsightedness through customized contact lens solutions that can reduce the risk of long-term retinal complications.
Dr. Kennedy is an active member of both the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. His patient-centered approach and commitment to innovation make him a trusted provider for families throughout the region.
Dr. Rohr – Optometrist Specializing in Pediatric Eye Care
Dr. Rohr is a dedicated optometrist with a strong passion for children’s vision and pediatric eye health. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2017.
Following graduation, Dr. Rohr remained in Memphis to focus on pediatric eye care, providing essential vision services to children in underserved public schools throughout the city. This experience allowed her to work closely with students, families, and educators—giving her a firsthand understanding of how vision problems can impact a child’s learning, development, and behavior in the classroom.
Dr. Rohr also completed clinical training at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where she gained specialized experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric eye conditions.
With a strong emphasis on early vision screenings, myopia management, and children’s eye exams, Dr. Rohr is committed to helping kids see clearly and succeed both in and out of school. Her professional interests include pediatric optometry, contact lenses, dry eye management, and comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rohr enjoys educating parents about the importance of early eye exams and ongoing vision care for children.
Outside the office, Dr. Rohr loves hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and golden retriever, Winston.


Veda Smith, O.D.
Dr. Smith grew up in Broomfield, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in integrative physiology. She also attended Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry and graduated with a distinction in clinical excellence with an emphasis in pediatrics and vision therapy. She enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams to her local Erie community and patients of all ages. She has a special interest in providing unique vision solutions to her patient’s specific needs allowing them to be successful in all aspects of their lives. In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, going to restaurants, reading a good book, spending time in the Colorado sunshine, coaching dance at a local high school, or floating on any body of water.
